We used to take our dog for a kiddie cone before "pup cups" were a thing. The Zero Zest is still the best high quality soft serve stand in the area. The service was quick and the employees were friendly. The soft serve ice cream is delicious and the portions are not stingy. I had vanilla in a sugar cone with butterscotch dip. They have mix ins and lots of non dairy selections. A specialty here is the Avalanche. It mixes in candy or fruit with any ice cream. There's almost unlimited combinations you can make. It's about $5 for a medium cup. They have a vegan vanilla ice cream flavor that can also be used. It's made with almond milk. This place is very good for vegans and they also have a few sorbets. It always has long lines but they are fast. It used to be just cash only. They now accept credit cards so they have slightly updated. ”
